Overview A Donor Relations Associate is responsible for managing relationships with donors and cultivating new relationships with potential donors. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase donor engagement and support. They must be able to communicate effectively with donors, understand their needs, and ensure that their donations are used in the most effective way. Detailed Job Description The Donor Relations Associate is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential donors. This includes identifying and cultivating new relationships, managing existing relationships, and developing strategies to increase donor engagement and support. The Donor Relations Associate will also be responsible for creating and executing donor engagement plans, managing donor databases, and providing reports on donor engagement and giving. • Ability to build relationships with donors
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques
• Knowledge of donor databases and software
• Ability to analyze data and create reports
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least two years of experience in donor relations or fundraising
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
• Knowledge of donor databases and software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
