Zoo Pal Donor Event Coordinator Jobs

Hourly, Non-Exempt. Pay is based on range in consideration of relevant job experience and certification/education

Other projects as assigned by management.

Support all other departmental needs as requested from time to time by management.

Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcoming experience for guests by upholding sanitation requirements.

Assist the other event coordinator with day-of responsibilities at corporate picnics and daytime meetings.

Plan, upsell and detail functions with corporate event clients including: space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes, decorations, etc.

Manages SDZWA donor ambassador groups, comprised of major donors and influential community members.

Determines event sites and creates event staffing plans, and all related logistics, directs staff and volunteers at events.

Solicits donations and sponsorships, providing significant funding for SDZWA.

Contracts and negotiates with outside vendors for event services, negotiating best prices.
