A District Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment within a designated district. They must be able to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as perform preventative maintenance.What is District Maintenance Technician Job Skills Required?
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow safety protocols
What is District Maintenance Technician Job Qualifications?
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school certification or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
