Having an understanding of progressive education philosophy and the ability to put it into practice.

Collaborating with Science, Art, Music, and Woodshop teachers to design integrated inquiry experiences

Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience and record of effective performance.

Creating and implementing an elementary school curriculum using a progressive and constructivist pedagogy.

Planning and facilitating effective, differentiated lessons in reading, writing, handwriting, spelling, math, and integrated inquiry

Assessing student learning on an ongoing basis and using this information to inform instruction.
