Distribution Manager – Rome Distribution Area Jobs in Illinois

Supervise the Material Handlers positions, following up with their performance and execution. Organizing schedules, coordinating PTO requests with DC Management.

Assist with reporting daily orders to upper management.

Manage the distribution of fresh produce within the region.

Manage space allocation for warehouse and/or office.

Orchestrate responsibilities throughout daily shifts when needed for efficient operations.

2 to 5 years of operations experience, quality or ripening background preferred

• Assist accounts and reps with special order requirements, product recommendations, pricing

Our client will provide a base of 55-65K + bonus, full benefits.

• Ensure timely communication between customers, manufacturer reps, sales staff, and operations

• Follow up with leads after trade shows and meetings

• Tracking of account sales performance, pricing and promotions

• Responsible for product merchandising at regional trade shows
