Distribution Center Area Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania

Must have excellent time management and decision-making skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks and projects.

Must have strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing timelines effectively.

Manages all operational aspects of assigned areas, directly including supervisors employees responsible for receiving, storing and processing freight.

Follows prescribed legal guidelines and requirements.

5 years of experience managing a fulfillment center operation is required.

Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with fulfillment center associates.

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related field

Minimum of 7 yrs of HR experience, with at least 5 yrs in a distribution center / manufacturing environment

Prior HR generalist experience with significant employee relations experience is required

Human Resources Certification is preferred

Represents the Company in the community through membership and involvement in various professional and community organizations.

Serves as subject matter expert on Company-wide and cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or operations environment. Minimum 2 years of management experience.

Other duties as assigned by management

Responsible for hiring, training, and performance management

Closely manage the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center.

Communicate effectively with the Operations Managers in regard to all DC-related initiatives.

Regularly interact and collaborate with District Managers and Market Representatives in the region.
