Director Of Human Resource Jobs

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management

Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team

Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development

Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization

Effectively manage, supervise and develop permanent and any temporary HR staff

Develop, implement and monitor programs that promote diversity and foster an open and inclusive environment.

Advise the President's senior staff team as directed.

General Supervision of the information technology and campus services departments

Bachelor’s degree required in a related field of study. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years’ experience.

Experience with employment law, then development of policies and procedures to support federal and state laws.

Experience in recruitment, interviewing and assessment at all levels.

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently.

Training and Development: Evaluate training needs and deploy appropriate learning opportunities monthly, either at all-company meetings or leadership sessions.

Ability to unify and motivate teams to accomplish goals and objectives.

Minimum of 15 years progressive Human Resource experience in employee relations, talent management, recruiting and training.

Apply effective time management skills (time management)

Proven leader in HR areas such as employee relations, HR compliance/process, talent management, professional development, performance management and culture building.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including basic Excel skills.

Plan effectively (project management; planning and organizing)

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). Position is fully remote with minimal travel requirement.

Support in the development of the life cycle of donor management, including leveraging systems and the pipeline renewal process

Systems Building and Project Management

Secure grants for the organization and manage foundation relations

Coach, motivate, recruit, develop, and train resource development team members including a Grants Manager, Donor Relations Manager, interns, and volunteers

Can demonstrate skills in development, gift solicitation, donor relations, and grant writing.

Have three or more years’ experience supervising, motivating, and mentoring staff, interns, or volunteers.
