Overview The Director of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s safety and environmental programs. They ensure that the organization is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and that the safety and health of employees and the environment are protected. Detailed Job Description The Director of Environment, Health and Safety is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s safety and environmental programs. They ensure that the organization is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and that the safety and health of employees and the environment are protected. The Director of EHS is also responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety audits and inspections, and providing safety training to employees. They also coordinate with other departments to ensure that safety and environmental issues are addressed. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and standards

• Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections

• Knowledge of risk management principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in safety and environmental management
• Professional certification in safety and/or environmental management (e.g. CSP, CIH, CHMM)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and standards
• Knowledge of risk management principles
• Knowledge of safety and environmental management systems
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in safety and environmental management
• Experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
• Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections
• Experience in providing safety training
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
