Previous plant director or Senior dept head background with strong experience in production and continuous improvement.
Participates in all phase assessments to provide a calibrated and objective viewpoint
Captures and disseminates current best practices worthy of reapplication

The Director will also be responsible for leading and managing teams of improvement professionals and ensuring that the organization’s goals and objectives are met. Detailed Job Description The Director of Continuous Improvement is responsible for leading the organization’s continuous improvement initiatives. This includes developing and implementing strategies and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. The Director will also be responsible for leading and managing teams of improvement professionals and ensuring that the organization’s goals and objectives are met. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a continuous improvement strategy that includes process improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing a system of metrics and measurements to track the progress of the organization’s continuous improvement initiatives. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure that employees are knowledgeable and skilled in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
