Director Biostatics Health Informatics Jobs

Possess strong organizational skills (e.g., time management, communication, setting goals, delegation, working under pressure, self-motivation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail).

Offer strategic, research-based advice on analysis strategies and other data analyst related activities.

Possess at least five (5) years of experience in conducting data analysis, operations research, or other relevant quantitative analysis.

Have experience in developing decision support analysis and conducting health informatics analysis.

Have experience in working with protected data, health-related data, and personal health information.

Desirable: Possess previous experience working with government institutions.

Work with system/cloud architects to scope, design, and, if necessary, design public health informatics solutions in a cloud environment

Bachelors degree in a quantitative field required.

Strong familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus

The Health Informatics SME will:

Ability to Obtain NACI clearance

1-3 years of transact-SQL (MS SQL or Oracle) experience.

Experience with SAS, SPSS and/or other data mining tools.

Effective listening and communication skills.

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to interpret results of query analyses.

Experience working with normalized and denormalized data structures.

Performs exploratory data analysis and data mining of healthcare claims and authorizations data.

5+ years of experience working with and querying large databases

Experience working with healthcare databases (e.g., claims, EMR, labs, etc.)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail

Design data pipelines and queries and analyze data to support our Life Sciences use cases

Develop and optimize database queries and procedures for data processing, transformation, and analysis

Develop advanced algorithms on large-scale healthcare databases
