Direct Support Professional Adult Day Services Jobs

Experience in long term care

Strong desire to work with the elderly.

Trained in basic first aid.

Certified in CPR and the treatment of obstructed airways.

Assists in the implementation of written goals from the treatmentplan

Instructs and reinforces target goal outcomes according toconsumer

Accurately notes consumer responses and results to staff; interventions and assessmentvia properdocumentation

Assists in the development of consumer treatment plan andgoals

High school diploma or GEDpreferred

Active driver’s license in the event transportation is taking place ( asapplicable)

Collaborate with clinical team on care management.

Manage staff which includes hiring, training, and performance reviews.

3+ years’ experience in a healthcare-related field of aging and with dementia care required.

3+ years supervisory experience required.

Strong collaborative, interpersonal, organization and multi-tasking skills.

We are currently recruiting for a Direct Support Professional to work in our Day Programs from 8am-4pm.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

· Maintains program inventories as assigned.

After successful completion of training:

*Must be good standing and expected to continue working at The Arc of Essex County:
