Digital Payments Product Manager Jobs in New York

10+ years of product management experience, preferably in a FinTech, Payments, e-commerce, or marketplace startups

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills, with ability to take initiative and build strong, positive relationships

You will lead all aspects of the newly formed Payments program to help Upside process Users’ payments through the app

Build and update the appropriate documentation and/or reporting to maintain alignment across all partners (e.g., PRDs, Product Roadmap, etc.)

Coordinate and run sound experiments to test and validate hypotheses

7+ years of product leadership inclusive of growing product teams

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

3+ years of product operations experience within the financial services industry

Strong technical background along with analytical and creative problem solving skills - turning analysis into actionable insights and remediation plans

Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively organize and communicate complex information

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

You will partner with technology to build a secure, highly available, scalable, and adaptable platform for the product

Excellent communication (written + verbal) skills and ability to build genuine, collaborative relationships throughout all levels of the org

Demonstrated experience managing complex and cross-functional initiatives including planning, execution, and delivery

Strong decision making skills with a balanced view of data, domain expertise, and gut instinct

Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely

Guide build vs. buy decisions to balance ability to experiment with reliability and scalability of our platform

Be a trusted PM for the existing Payments team, diving into in-progress initiatives, making decisions as needed and supporting delivery

3+ years of Management experience

Effective management skills to lead, develop and motivate a team

Determine appropriate strategy and actions of product management team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Product Management

Manage and develop a team of individual contributors for leading commercial payment product strategy and development

Consult, develop, market, and manage performance analysis for products that have high impact on companywide growth opportunities and success
