Roles and Responsibilities of a Marketing Intern

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, phone skills, Microsoft Office/Google Suite)

Help manage Blue Acorn iCi’s social media marketing

Communicate with SMEs (requirements, back and forth)

Help deliver objectives across projects and initiatives spanning event marketing, social media, content & thought leadership, employee experience, and analytics

Currently enrolled as college Junior, Senior or recent graduate

Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs

Draft social media posts on a daily basis to promote content and key messages

Write professional-grade content for use on website, blogs, etc. with guidance from marketing team members and leveraging AI tools

Track content performance and social media activity leveraging analytics and reporting tools

Participate in collaborative team meetings and brainstorms, gaining exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines and business decision-making

Support existing projects with a wide range of tasks, interacting with staff members of all levels

Skilled in Various Ads Management Platforms

Create compelling postings for Berkley Public Entity’s social media channels (LinkedIn) to increase engagement

Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications (or other applicable major) preferred
