Assists in counseling diabetic patients and others with special needs about dietary requirements for their illnesses.

Speaks to family members to make them aware of dietary needs of the patient and offer suggestions about following prescribed diets.

Accuracy in preparing reports about patients dietary requirements.

At least six months of experience or internship in a healthcare dietary department.

Dietary department experience: 1 year (Required)

Physiology knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
