Overview Diet Technicians are responsible for providing nutritional advice and guidance to patients and their families. They work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and private practice. They assess the nutritional needs of patients, develop meal plans, and provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits. Detailed Job Description Diet Technicians are responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients and developing meal plans to meet those needs. They must be knowledgeable about nutrition and dietetics, and be able to interpret and explain nutrition labels and food composition. They must be able to assess the nutritional needs of patients and develop meal plans to meet those needs. They must be able to provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, and be able to monitor and evaluate the progress of patients. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
