Overview The Development Assistant for Events is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support for the organization’s fundraising events. This position is responsible for managing the planning and execution of events, including researching and booking venues, coordinating with vendors, and managing event budgets. The Development Assistant for Events will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Research and book venues for fundraising events
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure that all event needs are met
• Manage event budgets and ensure that all expenses are within budget
• Create and distribute event invitations
• Track RSVPs and manage guest lists
• Coordinate with event staff to ensure that all tasks are completed
• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Manage event logistics, including transportation and catering
• Ensure that all event materials are prepared and distributed
• Provide administrative support for the development team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of event planning and budgeting
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in event planning, fundraising, or related field
• At least two years of experience in event planning or fundraising
