Dept Application Specialist Jobs

Knowledge of effective practices in nonprofit management and strong understanding of community-based organizations

Participate in strategy implementation by developing funding requirements, coordinating connections between grantees within a strategy as needed, and convening grantees.

One year (12 months) of professional experience performing programmatic assessment of children and youth programs. (EXCYP12), AND

Comprehensive knowledge of youth development, principles, and practices; and youth organizations throughout San Francisco.

Experience interacting effectively with San Francisco's diverse communities.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

May deal directly with customers to determine and document business requirements for customized information technology services

May serve as a business project manager on full range of projects which involve low to medium complexity

Maintains a strong understanding of department operations and develops appropriate systems to create operational effectiveness

Works with Portsmouth I.S. representatives regarding the design, implementation and maintenance of business operations

Analyzes system changes, enhancements and new programs appropriate for departmental needs and objectives

Provides assistance, problem solving and consulting to those responsible for resolution of operational and systems support issues
