The Dental Lab Technician Trainee will be responsible for learning the skills and techniques necessary to fabricate dental prosthetics. This includes learning how to use dental laboratory equipment, such as lathes, grinders, and polishers. The trainee will also learn how to use dental materials, such as acrylics, porcelain, and metals. The trainee will also learn how to read and interpret dental prescriptions, as well as how to fabricate dental prosthetics according to the prescription.
