Deep Learning Data Scientist Jobs

Completing or recently completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc., or have equivalent research experience.

Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of computer vision methods, as well as deep learning.

Experience with large language models and large vision-language models is a plus.

Excellent programming skills in Python and PyTorch; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus.

Hands-on experience with large-scale model training including data preparation and model parallelization (tensor and pipeline) is required.

Research, design and implement novel methods for efficient deep learning.

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ Years of extensive machine learning / deep learning research or work experience.

Knowledge of application areas such as natural language processing and computer vision.

Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environments such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus.

Develop deep learning-based approaches to improve and advance large language models (LLMs) and large multi-modal models.

Construct and curate datasets for large-scale machine learning, for learning from human preferences, and for specific domains of applications.

Experience in financial engineering and quantitative modeling, including formulating trading strategies

Graduate degree in computer science, data science, AI/ML, mathematics/statistics, engineering, or an equivalent technical field

Excelled in a fast-paced startup environment

Profit sharing (estimated minimum value of $25,000/year; maximum is uncapped)

But this position will likely be part of our first physical office (in the San Francisco Bay Area)
