Receives and reviews room assignments, priority room requests, keys and supplies from Hotel Housekeeping Management.

Promptly delivers all articles left in Guest rooms after checkout to Hotel Housekeeping Management for entry into Lost and Found.

Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to Hotel Housekeeping Management.

Experience in the hospitality industry as well as knowledge of common industry terms and practices preferred.

Promptly report any incidents of Guest dissatisfaction or unusual matters of significance to Manager/Supervisor so that corrective action may be taken.

Responsible for cleanliness of assigned rooms to include:

Complete dusting and vacuuming of room to ensure all dirt and debris is removed.

All in-room paper products are up-to-date and neat without creases, marks or water rings.

Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

Room Attendant Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleans guest rooms and baths in accordance with hotel procedures.

Collects soiled linen for laundering.

Report missing / found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors.

Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.

High School diploma or GED is preferred. One (1) month of previous related experience is preferred.

Vacuums, sweeps, scrubs, mop, and cleans carpet and flooring in guest rooms.

Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.

Scrubs, disinfects and deodorizes showers, toilets, wash basins, and other bathroom and vanity fixtures.

Removes trash and debris from guest rooms.

Strips beds, collects dirty linens, and makes beds with fresh linens.

Inspects rooms for repairs and reports needs to Maintenance, Management, or Front Desk accordingly.

Pitches in and helps co-workers with their job duties as part of the housekeeping team.

Ensuring that guest rooms are clean and neat

Completing daily assignment of guest rooms within allotted time and perform general cleaning as assigned

Stocking and maintaining cart in a neat, orderly manner at all times
