Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in computer spreadsheet and database applications and experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Power Point, and Excel).

Experience with the Epic system.

Experience with admitting or transferring patients in the inpatient setting.

Classification Title: Support Services Specialist

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with patients/families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members as demonstrated through written and verbal interactions.

General computer skills are required, including proficiency in managing multiple databases including Microsoft Excel.

Minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience.

Applies nursing theory to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of patient responses to health and illness.

Assesses patient health care preferences and expectations.
