Data Science Assistant Intern Jobs in Michigan

This position will work cross functionally to define business requirements for data governance and ad hoc data reporting

Software Engineering experience with proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (preferably Python).

Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)

Experience with AWS Data Lakes, S3, Redshift

Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

This position will focus on building scalable ETL data pipelines that facilitate data warehousing for clinical trial and operational data

Progressive engineering experience working with large datasets preferably in the automotive domain, including building models and extracting insights from data.

Strong applied knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning including various classification and regression techniques.

Strong applied knowledge of data preparation for the various ML models including data cleansing and feature set selection, among others.

Applied knowledge of evaluating and comparing datasets from multiple experiments/drives/sources to perform comparison and similarity testing.

Heavy experience with the following programing languages - Python, SQL, R, Spark.

Work with real-world driving datasets containing multi-sensor data of road and driving conditions.
