Internal capacities, roles, and responsibilities

In-depth knowledge of gender equality, the UN Women and resource mobilization from a diverse base of stakeholders.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to foster networks and partnerships.

Experience of UN Women operations and development of strategic documents towards differentiated fundraising strategies towards gender equality.

At least 3 years of experience in the field of gender and development, preferably in the Asia-Pacific region

Experiences in the issues of women peace and security in the context of ASEAN regional inter-governmental process is an advantage

Proven experience facilitating high-level consultative workshops for ASEAN government representatives, dialogue partners, institutions, and civil society organisations (CSOs) in Southeast Asia

Knowledge of the Southeast Asia context related to WPS.

Previous work experience working with high-level government officials in ASEAN would be a strong asset
