Data Center Critical Environment Technician Jobs

Provide remote hands and eyes services for customers.

One or more years of work experience in data center environment, NOC, or equivalent

BOD OEM (Panduit, Corning), A+, Network+, BICSI Installer I certifications

Customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization.

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

The ability to pass job-related skills assessments based on pre-determined scoring criteria and time frames.

Compensation offered for this role is $37,000.00-$64,750.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.

3 or more years of related experience

Working knowledge of all major mechanical and electrical equipment

Knowledge of Federal, State, and OSHA regulations and guidelines

General working knowledge of inventory control

General knowledge of material handling

Developing and implementing policies and procedures for effective data handling and management

Ensuring that a company's data management protocols are in line with regulatory standards

Interest or experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst

Interest or experience in data mining

Knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) and data framework

Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)

Ensure that test requirements are included in documentation and specifications for a feature or product.

OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience

OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of technical engineering experience.

Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.

6+ years of technical engineering experience

2+ years of experience with project management or relevant certification/training in project management

Project Management Institute (PMI) or similar certification

Management of small-to-medium projects from conception to completion

Manage, plan control and organize the planned preventative and corrective electrical and/or mechanical equipment.

OR 2+ years industry experience and college course work

Experience with physical Information Technology infrastructures (e.g. Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.)

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

0-2 years experience in a critical operations environment and/or data center experience preferred, but not required

Multi tasking - we use several different systems to manage ticket queues and work tasks can change throughout the day

Proactively support the safety of the environment & occupants and ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.

Monitor IMDC’s critical power, cooling/environmental, security & support systems and facilities to meet or exceed up-time service levels.

Perform limited maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of the data center heating and cooling systems and overall facility.

1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience in engineering and prior plumbing and mechanical design experience.

Apply engineering design techniques under supervision of an experienced engineer

Highly skilled in ability to use Revit 20 (or later)

Experience in designing plumbing systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
