Data Analyst Jobs in Kansas

Ensure timely, complete, and accurate processing of client transaction files, including timely management and clearing of business rule exceptions

Review, enhance, and sign settlements ensuring client payments and refunds are processed timely

Work with Claims team to reduce Claims in Verification and other claim functions.

Partner with Ops teams to assist with special projects

Ability to learn new systems and manipulate data for reporting

1-2 days onsite | Leawood, Kansas

Apply standard methodologies to analyze, design, develop, and deploy data management solutions.

Knowledge and skills with Power BI will be important, not critical

Strong business communications skills for requirements gathering and development

Experience working with one or more columnar storage systems (Snowflake, Redshift, Big query, etc)

Experience working in cloud data environments (AWS, Azure)

Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce

3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst position.

Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.

Experience working with large datasets.

Demonstrated experience solving business problems using data.

Experience with data tools including Databricks and Spark.

Experience with Python, R, Scala, or Java.

Experience with radio astronomy data analysis is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Working experience with a standard data modeling toolset, working knowledge of ER/Studio a strong plus.

Data mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation validation and reconciliation)

Strong ability to work with SQL databases including working SQL knowledge of SQLServer and/or Netezza DBMS a plus.

Data Analysis experience with data profiling and data validation.

Communicate with customers to obtain data requirements and perform data analysis on data provided

Working knowledge of Hadoop Platform and data components like Hive, Hbase, or Impala.

Ability to work independently while providing leadership enhancing and improving the budget and forecasting requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance degree required

1-4 years of comparable experience in financial budgeting and forecasting

Power BI experience is a plus

Good communication and presentation skills developing reporting aids for various levels within organization

Experience in Prophix or other current state-of-the-art budgeting and forecasting system
