5+ years of leadership experience

5+ years of retail/hospitality/customer service experience

Creates synergy with the Operations team holistically and spends multiple shifts with the overnight Operations team on a monthly basis.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Communications or related area

Responsible for meeting budgets in the areas of sales, expense, all Profit & Loss (P&L) categories, metrics and overall store contribution.

Drives the overall financial performance of the store by utilizing reporting tools and implementing strategies/tactics designed to improve store performance.

Monitors competition assortments, pricing strategies as well as promotions to gain a competitive advantage.

Creates opportunities to get involved with the communities; hosting events, support volunteer opportunities, etc.

Creates a store environment where everyone feels welcome and safe

Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience

Background check may be required if position offered

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Museology, History, Art History, Material Culture or Arts Administration.

Proven ability to maintain positive and effective interpersonal relationships

8+ years of experience in the field of full-package book design in cookbooks, art books, and children’s books.

Excellent writing and communication skills

Ability to manage competing priorities while adhering to deadlines

Art Directing and oversight of staff, assigning the design of every book, interior and package, across three imprints.

Overseeing trafficking of freelanced projects (design and illustration) and maintain design schedules and databases.

Commissions and directs freelance illustrators and photographers, creation of mood boards to aid in this.

Assist with overall supervision and management of program personnel including recruitment, hiring, training, and terminating.

Review monthly financials, with the Program Director, to ensure compliance with operations/contract requirements. Adhere to negotiated annual budget and spending requirements.

Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Program Director in his/her absence or as requested.

Master's degree in social services or related field, with one year supervisory experience working with troubled youth.

These requirements may be waived with written approval from the ORR Project Officer

Monitor the program facility and vehicle maintenance, inventory control and bulk purchases. Maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free environment.

Associate degree with significant experience or bachelors degree or masters degree in child development, elementary or early childhood education

Use a broad range of materials in designing the childrens learning experiences and creating and maintaining an organized, aesthetically pleasing environment

Maintain licensing requirements for the center

Work collaboratively with the Director of Business and Finance on application process, enrollment decisions and payment arrangements

Manage the childcare program budget

Associate degree with significant experience or bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in child development, elementary or early childhood education
