Overview The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a senior executive responsible for the overall technology strategy and vision of an organization. The CTO is responsible for developing and implementing technology initiatives that align with the organization’s overall business objectives. The CTO is also responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the organization’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks. Detailed Job Description The CTO is responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s technology strategy and vision. This includes researching and evaluating new technologies, developing and implementing technology initiatives, and overseeing the development and maintenance of the organization’s technology infrastructure. The CTO is also responsible for managing the organization’s technology budget, developing and maintaining relationships with technology vendors, and ensuring that the organization’s technology infrastructure is secure and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
