Crtm Computational Scientist I Jobs

15+ years of experience in scientific software development in C/C++, CUDA, and Python.

Demonstrated experience in advanced Fourier analysis and nonuniform Fast Fourier transforms.

Deep knowledge of dynamical scattering theory, the distorted-wave Born approximation, and multi-slice algorithms.

Experience in developing scalable GPU implementations of fully 3D Mixed-Scale Dense networks for experimental image analysis.

Extensive experience in collaborating with beamline scientists on analyzing experimental X-ray tomography and grazing-incidence small-angle X-ray scattering data.

Experience in writing research/funding proposals.

At least three years of experience in computational science or engineering;

Highly collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to be a productive member of a research team with good interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of atmospheric radiative transfer modeling, especially CRTM, RTTOV.

Knowledge of Line-by-Line radiative transfer models, such as the LBLRTM, spectroscopic databases (e.g., HITRAN, LNFL) and/or related models.
