They are responsible for providing medical care and monitoring during transport, as well as providing emotional support to patients and their families. Detailed Job Description Critical Care Transport Nurses are responsible for providing medical care and monitoring during transport of critically ill or injured patients. They must be able to assess the patient’s condition, provide medical interventions, and monitor vital signs. They must also be able to provide emotional support to patients and their families. Critical Care Transport Nurses must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to make quick decisions. Job Skills Required

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
