Overview Critical Care Transport Nurses provide specialized care to critically ill or injured patients who require transportation to a higher level of care. They are responsible for providing medical care and monitoring during transport, as well as providing emotional support to patients and their families. Detailed Job Description Critical Care Transport Nurses are responsible for providing medical care and monitoring during transport of critically ill or injured patients. They must be able to assess the patient’s condition, provide medical interventions, and monitor vital signs. They must also be able to provide emotional support to patients and their families. Critical Care Transport Nurses must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to make quick decisions. Job Skills Required• Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current certification in Critical Care Transport (CCT)
• Experience in critical care nursing
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of medical equipment
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques
• Knowledge of medical interventions
• Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques
• Knowledge of patient safety protocols
• Knowledge of emergency medical services
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in critical care nursing
• At least one year of experience in critical care transport
• Experience in providing medical care and monitoring during transport
• Experience in providing emotional support to patients and their families
