To perform duties with high degree of accuracy.

To review, analyze, and file completion reports by targeted due dates.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Mathematics and/or experience in a similar position

Understand our “out of market” requirements and franchise lending requirements

Knowledge of the different loan types and the importance of selecting the correct one

Strong analytical and math skills required

Spreading and balancing an income statement and balance sheet

Developing business cash flows, personal crash flows and global cash flow analysis

Completes additional responsibilities as assigned by Management Team

Manage the Project Review team mailbox including review requests, inquiries and scenarios

Three (3) or more years of mortgage industry experience required

Prior Condo Project Processing/Mortgage eligibility experience required

Co-op documentation review and analysis experience a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

2 to 10 years of relevant work experience within credit review, portfolio management, and/or leveraged finance

Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar spaces are preferred

Self-Starter with strong organizational, written, & presentation skills

Location: NYC Hybrid or Remote

Lead reviews to challenge and assess the financial strength of borrowers

Assess and assign internal credit ratings to the portfolio

Experience writing risk management review reports

Develops and maintains positive working relationships with line of business management, credit risk management, audit staff, and other departments

Maintains a thorough knowledge of credit risk review procedures, sound lending practices, credit policies, and regulatory requirements

Collaborates with senior management in the development of team goals and objectives, ensuring consistent achievement

Offers advice and guidance to junior examiners, assisting in the development of necessary skills and the promotion of continuous improvement initiatives

Maintains a thorough knowledge of sound lending practices, lending regulations, and the bank’s loan policy and underwriting guidelines

Ability to understand GM Financials business, apply knowledge and critical thinking skills in day-to-day problems and solutions

Manage the recourse process by monitoring accounts placed on recourse and escalating them as buybacks when a trigger is breached

Knowledge of consumer credit preferred

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

Hybrid model opportunity in Fort Worth, TX: Potential to work 3 days remote and 2 days onsite.

Individual must work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up.

Process transactions through internal systems to ensure regulatory requirements.

Manage communications among a diverse mix of internal and external participants.

Loan underwriting or equivalent experience.

Individual must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Candidate has quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft based programs.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Conduct reviews and approve BIC Program applications, and periodic certifications as required for the DIs.

Bachelor’s degree required in business, economics, finance, legal, accounting or a related field.

Minimum 3+ years of related work experience.

Knowledgeable of financial instruments, including loans and securities.

Experience with conducting financial analysis.
