Overview A Corrections Activities Specialist is responsible for providing recreational activities and programs for inmates in a correctional facility. This includes developing, organizing, and supervising activities such as sports, educational classes, and other leisure activities. The Corrections Activities Specialist must ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and secure manner and in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures. Detailed Job Description The Corrections Activities Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising recreational activities for inmates in a correctional facility. This includes developing, organizing, and supervising activities such as sports, educational classes, and other leisure activities. The Corrections Activities Specialist must ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and secure manner and in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures. The Corrections Activities Specialist must also ensure that all activities are conducted in a way that is beneficial to the inmates and that all activities are conducted in a way that is consistent with the facility’s mission and goals. Job Skills Required
