PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.

Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist.

Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.

Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.

Partner with Mill Safety Manager to effectively communicate and enforce the safety program to the facility staff.

Manage workforce planning to ensure proper staffing levels to maintain productivity (i.e., order readiness, customer specs, speed trails, set-up rodeos, etc.)

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor all control procedures, recommending improvements to the Mill Manager as appropriate.

Must have 5+ years of supervisory experience in the corrugated/ converting industry.

Knowledge of machinery and how to identify issues and troubleshoot equipment.

Leverage manufacturing knowledge to achieve business objectives, such as to solve problems, develop new ideas, or build the business.

Depending on the criteria, the above qualifications may be waived by Management.

Should have good oral and written communication skills.

If driving a forklift, must have a valid IBS Forklift Certification.

Keeps equipment and floor area clean and orderly, follows daily housekeeping requirements.

One year or more production experience - preferred.
