Continuous Improvement Director Jobs in Pennsylvania

Establishes an integrated, seamless working relationship with plant manager and HPS manager, and the rest of the organization

Develops leadership team and especially HPS managers; leads the network of HPS leaders within the region

Leads workshops involving all plant actors to increase the level of skills and autonomy of the production teams

Previous plant director or Senior dept head background with strong experience in production and continuous improvement.

Participates in all phase assessments to provide a calibrated and objective viewpoint

Captures and disseminates current best practices worthy of reapplication

Preferred Qualifications: Extensive training and implementation experience in industry leading lean tools and practices

Excellent time and project management

Problem Solving: Leverage ABS A3 Management process and team based basic problem solving processes to institutionalize data based problem solving.

Change management – Ability to engage the hearts and minds of people.

Education: BS or BA Degree; Master’s Degree preferred

Experience: Minimum fifteen years in a lean/operational leadership role

Solid hands-on experience in managing changes, CI projects, conflict management, culture transformation.

Solid knowledge in Project Management, able to develop scope of project based on timeline, budget, resource, cost, etc.

Coach, counsel and train operational managers and staff to apply, support, sustain and develop a Continuous Improvement culture.

Leverage best practices gained through Continuous Improvement activities to other activities which would benefit from implementation.

Work experience in protein processing that involves manual butchering, cutting, trimming, etc.

Solid knowledge in CI related practices such as 5S, TQM, Value Stream Mapping, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.

Plan, execute and manage projects completion through Lean Six Sigma methodology.

Minimum of 3 years with proven experience utilizing Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing initiatives in production are preferred.

Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification or higher with strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts.

Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement within NewAge ensuring the engagement and involvement of everyone.

3 – 5 years Project Management experience required

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Operations Management,

Schedules, leads, and manages all project team meetings internally for the duration of the

Minimum of 4 - 7 years Warehousing/3PL experience required

Writes and presents capital expenditure approval documents to senior management and secures funding for projects.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional societies.

Confirm system and product capabilities by designing and conducting feasibility studies and defining test methods and properties.

12+ years of demonstrable experience in a pertinent technical/leadership role.
