Excellent ability to communicate across all mediums and settings, superior consulting abilities.

Writing and editing skills, with a thorough understanding of Associated Press style and the rules of grammar and usage

Storytelling skills and an ability to transform policy ideas, metrics and strategies into easy-to-understand and compelling language for donor audiences

People and communication skills, whether for collaboration or managing others

Edit and rewrite or oversee revisions of content to ensure the institute’s character and tone are represented and consistent.

Produce content applying our policy solution set to news items and featuring our Your Story individuals to highlight problems.

Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of HTML.

Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a content writer and editor, ideally in the technology, SaaS, or data-related industries.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio showcasing diverse content pieces and writing styles.

Write and edit high-quality content for various channels, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, website copy, and more.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and data, to gather information and insights for creating informative and engaging content.
