Inspects and enforces job safety requirements

Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules

Completes ‘punch lists’ and assists in completion of new home orientation lists.

Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled

Ensure job site cleanliness and assists in completion of model/inventory maintenance

4 + years related experience construction and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Provide input to project manager for schedule updates, material variances, and changes to scope of work.

Some experience creating, working within and/or administering an assigned budget, preferred or ability to learn same.

A working knowledge of customer specifications will be necessary to ensure a quality project avoiding re-work or punch listwork.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback.

Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook.

Lead Gardener / Project Management Assistant

Qualifications in horticulture, botany or restoration work a big plus!

At least 4 dedicated home office/client on-site days a week (Approx 20-30 hrs)

Assist Owner in organizing and managing scheduling SG associates/gardeners for planting and weeding days

Familiarity with Google calendars for managing work and consultation scheduling

Assist in managing task lists and priorities using Salesforce

Assist Construction Management Team in maintaining subdivision safety records.

Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, inspect all materials and workmanship during installation and upon completion to ensure quality standards.

Ensure proper delivery and placement of all materials on the job site.

Assist in scheduling and communicating with independent contractors in a timely and efficient manner.

Create and implement recommendations concerning best solution for any issues that may arise with contractors, customers or suppliers.
