Records management program development and implementation;

Review and contact customers who have high water use and or possible leaks. Walk through/offer assistance with leak detection process.

Develops and reviews educational programs; coordinates, schedules and attends water conservation workshops.

Standard office equipment including the computer and programs relevant to the performance of applicable duties and responsibilities;

Compiling data, using analytical and critical thinking skills;

Employee assistance program; offers confidential individual/family, marriage, legal and financial counseling

Current First Aid and CPR certification required (training will be offered).

Teach education programs to people of all ages.

Stay overnight at the Education Camp with groups during programs.

Maintain hiking trails and outdoor spaces at Education Camp.

Minimum of two years of college-level coursework completed in related field (education, science, etc.); B.S. or B.A. in related field preferred

Experience with school age children required.

Experience working across cultures and geographies, including highly effective cross cultural communication skills.

Other tasks assigned by manager.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a background in education, group facilitation, leadership development, or in conservation practice.

Exceptional skills with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Experience in conservation or environmental learning.

Cross cultural experiences like Peace Corps, traveling / hiking overseas and similar will be favorably considered.

Serve as a resource to the community and government organizations regarding water management and conservation programs.

Computerized record keeping and data management

Develop, monitor and coordinate conservation programs specific to the needs of the water service area; perform community education and outreach activities.

Represent the City at local, regional and state conservation activities and committees.

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in natural resource management or a similar field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work with educational institutions in developing partnerships and building resource management capacity.

Develop and maintain cooperative management relationships with managers of other natural areas, commercial timber lands and public lands.

Provide technical expertise in fire management, land stewardship and forestry for planning purposes.

Obtain and keep current an FAA certification as a drone pilot.

Manage TNC Dugdown Corridor land holdings for biological diversity, resiliency, and ecosystem services.

Receives direction from the Water Services Quality Coordinator and other supervisory and management staff.

Monitors monthly usage data and notifies customers of excess usage

Researches and assists with potential water conservation grants

Represent the City at professional and industry group meetings

Complies with safety work practices and attends relevant safety training

May provide lead direction to part-time water conservation staff

Prior administrative experience, preferably with a focus on budget administration or finance.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with databases preferred.

Demonstrated strong organization; ability to set priorities, manage time effectively and complete multiple assignments on time.

Good oral and written communication skills; excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Able to compose standard business correspondence.

Principles and practices of landscape management methods for residential, commercial, and institutional applications.

Must possess or obtain during probationary period, Irrigation Association Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA) certification.

2. Training and Experience Exam

Assist in the implementation of the City's water efficiency programs.

Assists with management of daily/weekly workflow and maintains workspace:

Demonstrated skills in book conservation and binding techniques.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

At least one (1) year of experience performing conservation treatments in a library or comparable environment required.

Specialized knowledge of book structures, binding techniques, paper repair, and conservation practices required.
