Conservation Interpreter Seasonal Jobs

Pursuing BA/BS or previous work-related experience in office management, meeting and event management, communication, or natural sciences preferred.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to balance multiple assignments successfully.

Knowledge of the principles and techniques of endangered and threatened species habitat management.

Knowledge of the types and uses of equipment used in conservation biology research and management.

Knowledge of ornithology or other wildlife conservation science related to assigned responsibilities.

Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.

Qualifications Required at Hire and Minimum Entrance Requirements:

Knowledge of the principles of ecology and population biology.

Providing guests of all ages and backgrounds with a memorable and educational experience focusing on applicable conservation connections.

Communicates effectively with the team and management.

Skilled at generating enthusiasm and fun among team members that translates into stand-out experiences for our guests.

Completes other duties as assigned by management.

Interest and experience in ecology, biology, zoology, environmental studies/science, communication, or education.

Minimum of two years’ experience in guest experience, education (environmental or formal), theater/acting, or interpretive occupations preferred.
