Overview Compound Tech I is a position responsible for the preparation and maintenance of compounds used in the production of pharmaceuticals. The Compound Tech I is responsible for ensuring that all compounds are prepared and maintained in accordance with established standards and procedures. Detailed Job Description The Compound Tech I is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of compounds used in the production of pharmaceuticals. This includes the preparation of compounds, the maintenance of equipment used in the preparation of compounds, and the maintenance of records related to the preparation and maintenance of compounds. The Compound Tech I is also responsible for ensuring that all compounds are prepared and maintained in accordance with established standards and procedures. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding processes and techniques
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established standards and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work with a variety of chemicals and materials
• Ability to use a variety of laboratory equipment
• Ability to maintain accurate records
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical compounding environment preferred
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding processes and techniques
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical compounding environment preferred
