Experience in research, compliance analysis or monitoring, legal analysis, and/or auditing work.

General knowledge of Oil and Gas documents, procedures, and division functions.

Working knowledge of Oil and Gas rules and regulations.

General knowledge of GIS systems.

Four (4) or more years I-9 Compliance experience with proven knowledge of E-Verify

Past experience in conducting internal I-9 compliance audits

Proven knowledge of Federal Laws surrounding Immigration and Employment Eligibility

Past experience of handling confidential information with high level of discretion

Strong reporting and communication skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including strong PowerPoint and Excel

High school or general education degree (GED).

At least six months experience in a related field.

An individual should have knowledge of Database software and Word Processing software.

Carries out tax rules and regulations and understands Cherokee Nation Tax Law 68CNCA.

Compliance Analyst I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and at least 2 years of regulatory compliance and ITAR experience

Ability to synthesize information and develop recommendations for management.

Review license requests referred from DTCL to ensure compliance with registration requirements.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to resolve disputes in a timely and professional manner.

Good written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills. Writing samples may be required.

Microsoft Office Suite experience with Advanced Excel skills

Minimum of 3 years in Financial Services role (Compliance, Fraud, or OFAC based experience)

College degree or commensurate business experience

CAMS certification required within 1 year (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist)

CGSS certification required within 1 year (Certified Global Sanctions Specialist)

Such other compliance related responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to-time by the Compliance Manager

BSA auditing or casino accounting experience preferred

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Perform technical, analytical and detail orientated work related to gaming records, activities and patterns to identify possible suspicious activity

Prepare detailed investigative reports for all incidents of possible suspicious behavior

Be willing to travel and occasionally be away from home for extended periods of time.

Examines physical security safeguards and accounting procedures of persons registered to manufacture, receive, hold and dispense controlled dangerous substances.

Operates and monitors electronic surveillance equipment; operates computers and computer software.

Performs major field tactical police functions such as breach of property, marijuana eradication, and other such situations

CLEET certified or ability to complete within 1 yr.

2 or more years of management experience

Project management and process improvement experience

Knowledgeable in regulations governing the healthcare industry
