Community Solar Analyst Jobs

Support Asset Management in analysis and understanding of operating solar plant performance relative to pre-construction energy estimates.

Knowledge, both technical and commercial, of how renewable energy assets are developed, constructed, operated and financed.

Manage and create spatial data in geographic information systems to support assessment, design, and optimization of projects.

Experience with databases and general understanding of information technology and database design and administration.

Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form are required.

Remote work may be approved for the right candidate.

3-5 years of relevant project management experience (energy or related sectors); previous solar experience desirable.

Knowledge of industry-standard project management methods, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) best practices, ISO9000 guidelines, and other similar best practices.

Proficiency with Project planning and Management Software, PowerPoint, Excel, and other similar software.

Review and comment on requirement documents, schedules, cost estimates, and other important information related to solar PV projects.

Manage contractors that are constructing solar PV systems ranging from commercial to utility scale utilizing MS Project and other software tools.

Create and manage the project documentation related to the delivery of a project including bids, construction, and project close-out documentation.

Complete title curative items for project finance requirements, collaborating with the legal team

Organize and maintain files, budgets, and project records using the internal processes, databases, and project management software

Meet with landowners, manage to lease terms, and amend leases for solar development

Manage third-party consultants and contractors to complete required diligence items related to a portfolio of projects

Manage and work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments

Prepare project deliverables for and work closely with the Structured Finance team to ensure qualifying projects are ready for financial closings

Strong knowledge of community solar and RECs.

3+ years of relevant work experience in the community solar field.

Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Understand each community solar market's structure and complexities.

Being an expert on all federal, state, and utility adders will help you maximise project returns.

Work with internal regulatory teams to ensure compliance with each programme and incentive structure.
