Job Qualifications And Educational Requirements

Adheres to the CareStar Rule in the performance of job responsibilities.

High School Diploma, GED or higher education level.

Community Health Worker certification preferred.

One-year experience with community resources within area served.

Populations that differ in areas including, but not limited to educational status, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, language, disabilities, and gender

People with lived experiences related to primary populations

Must have CHW certification or complete CHW training and achieve certification within first six (6) weeks of hire.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a community health worker, community builder or volunteer

Is a resident of Marion County and/or has extensive knowledge of community members, the neighborhood served, and available community resources
