Commercial Plumber Apprentice Jobs

Able to perform all aspects of plumbing repairs

We are looking for a plumber and apprentice to help Superior grow.

Willingness to learn on the job, go through training, and earn a qualification as a Plumber.

Good math skills for accurate measurements.

Excellent manual dexterity. Strong active listening skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Repairing or replacing pipes and parts.

Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required):

Must have experience or general knowledge of Plumbing trade and willingness to learn all phases.

High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Knowledgeable of current city codes and EPA regulations.

General knowledge of practices, tools and terminology of the plumbing trade.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to utilize a computerized maintenance management system to document daily work orders.

Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills, self-starter able to manage and prioritize multiple assignments with attention to detail.

Knowledge and ability to maintain, repair, test, troubleshoot, and install plumbing equipment.

Knowledge of plumbing codes, laws and best practices.

Must have experience with and the ability to assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings, plumbing fixtures, and drainage systems.

NOTE: Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

The following is a list of required hand tools:

Crescent Wrenches 6", 8", & 12"

Copper Cutters ½" to 2"

Torque Wrench (no hub wrench)

Socket Wrench Set ¼" to 13/16"

2-4 year's of plumbing working experience

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Install, repair, and replace various Commercial Plumbing systems sometimes in confined or high places

Complete paperwork in a timely and efficient manner

Work closely with all other workers and supervisors while maintaining a polite, professional attitude

Arrive on time to all jobs ready to work
