Ensure all loan documents are compliant with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Loan Processor in the mortgage industry.

In-depth knowledge of loan processing procedures, underwriting guidelines, and federal/state regulations.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial documents and credit reports.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with borrowers and team members.

Knowledge in Calyx, DocuTech, Word, Excel, LoanServe, EDMS and advanced keyboard data entry skills will be necessary

Demonstrate interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include

Must have experience in Mortgage Loan Processing of Full Document loans (FHA, VA, CONV and USDA)

Satisfies conditions and ensures documentation meets requirements

Must be knowledgeable in Mortgage Servicing

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); College degree preferred but not required.

3+ years of direct processing experience preferred but not required.

Prior experience with automated underwriting (to include Freddie and Fannie).

Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Prepare mortgage loan file by reviewing loan application; clarifying or obtaining additional information.

Manage verifications for underwriting requirements

Excellent time management and priority setting

Build and manage relationships with internal and external contacts on the borrower and investor side

2+ years of loan processing and underwriting experience

2+ years experience working in financial services, specifically lending

Excellent communications and negotiation skills

Manage Trade settlement process for both par and distressed trades

Coordinate Primary and Secondary trade settlements with investor parties, including paper and on Clear Par

Ensure applicable closing and assignment documents are received and verified

Review and reconcile cash positions. Resolve outstanding items as needed

Coordinate funding and/or payments, as needed

Calculate trade related fees and coordinate closing flow of funds

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

Knowledge and ability to learn banking systems and software programs necessary for efficient completion of duties.

Must possess the willingness to accept job duties as outlined in the current job description or as assigned.

Ability to organize and set priorities to ensure completion of workload.
