Commercial Field Appraiser I Jobs in Texas

Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Self-starter - able to work remotely with limited supervision and work with neighboring staff appraisers.

Body shop &/or insurance experience.

Communicates with vehicle owners to promptly schedule physical inspections of damaged vehicle.

Proficient in writing auto estimates in CCC.

Equivalent work experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skill and abilities maybe considered.

Achieve departmental goals by working cooperatively with attorneys, management, and all others while representing in a team player atmosphere.

Prepare offers and approve litigation settlements for the Appraisal District

Monitor/manage key milestones in the process for each case assigned

Bachelor’s Degree. Registered Professional Appraiser (RPA) Certification within one year for internal candidates.

Advanced appraisal or related appraisal license or certification nearing completion for external candidates.

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.

Strong computer skills, experience with construction and/or engineering automation software is a plus. Field experience is a plus.

Interpreting drawings, specifications and technical requirements as required for field personnel

Working with the Quality Group to ensure that all work conforms to approved project requirements and specifications

Coordinating with the client representative to ensure compliance with job requirements and specifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills
