College Recruit Jobs in Ohio

EMT Recruits will attend a paid four month training in preparation for obtaining an EMT Certification.

Successful recruits will be moved to a full-time permanent EMT position upon certification as an EMT.

An additional $4000 one year following training completion date

Initial payments after completion of required training must be made before September 30, 2024

Starting Salary During Training: $15.15

Takes tests to measure knowledge gained, evaluates performance and determines progress made

Must not have had certification as a peace officer permanently revoked in another state

Must be eligible for certification as a State Peace Officer

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

**Candidates meeting the minimum requirements

Participates in the academic and physical recruit training program of the Louisville Metro Police Academy

Participates in Public Fire Education and Safety Survey activities.

Meets scheduling and attendance requirements.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Possession of a valid Driver's License.

National Registry EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced or Paramedic

Participates in department required monthly and annual training.
