High School Graduate and/or technical degree with minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in life sciences industry

Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology

Understanding of verbal, written, and organizational skills

Assist in the conduct of clinical trials in accordance with the study protocol, GCP, ICH Guidelines, and Velocity’s SOPs

Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture and/or other fluid collection within scope of the protocol and local law and regulations

With supervision, perform clinical assessments (vital signs, phlebotomy, ECG, etc) within scope of the protocol, local law and regulations

Gain experience in the fast-growing world of clinical research and develop skills that are in high demand

Starting pay between $18 - $22hr based on experience

Certification as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, LPN with an Associate's Degree OR Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related discipline

Clinical research experience preferred, but not required

Knowledge of data management programs

Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience, Psychology or relevant field and 1-2 research years experience required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Experience performing EEG or ECG tests preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills are required for working with the study participants

Good oral and written communication skills

Analytical skills and the ability to resolve technical or research problems and issues and to interpret the acceptability of data results

Seeking candidates who have CNA or Medical Assistance experience. Phlebotomy certification a plus.

Prior experience in a research role.

Prior experience working with laboratory protocol, systems and documentation techniques.

Expected to bend, lift, and carry patient files, documents, equipment, and supplies.
