Overview A Clinical Auditor is a healthcare professional who is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of medical records and other clinical documentation. They review medical records to ensure that they meet all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as to ensure that the patient received appropriate care. Clinical Auditors also provide feedback to healthcare providers on their documentation practices and make recommendations for improvement. Detailed Job Description Clinical Auditors are responsible for reviewing medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness. They must be familiar with all applicable laws and regulations related to medical records and documentation. Clinical Auditors must be able to identify any discrepancies or errors in the medical records and provide feedback to healthcare providers on their documentation practices. They must also be able to make recommendations for improvement. Clinical Auditors must be able to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other healthcare professionals.
