Certify members to learn how to belay

Promote climbing wall as a business within the facility.

Follow all FFC Climbing Wall safety standards, rules and policies

Incredible customer service skills, attention to detail and extensive experience with instruction, facilitation, and training staff.

A knowledgeable expert in the art of rock climbing, and an experienced climbing coach

Role model in current position and in excellent standing with current management staff

Excited to welcome individuals of all backgrounds and abilities into the climbing community

Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate team goals

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience

Have a solid knowledge of indoor rock climbing including climbing technique, belaying technique, routes and rating systems, rock climbing safety equipment.

Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 3 months of hire.

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts while performing job responsibilities.

Ability to understand and enforce all climbing wall policies and procedures.

Provide supervision of climbing wall participants to include belaying and spotting climbers.

Teach and demonstrate proper use of all climbing equipment (harnesses, belay devices, shoes, etc.).
