Overview The Clerical Assistant 2 position in the Philadelphia City Controller’s Office (CAO) is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the CAO and other departments. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks, including filing, data entry, and other administrative duties. Detailed Job Description The Clerical Assistant 2 is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the CAO and other departments. This includes filing, data entry, and other administrative duties. The Clerical Assistant 2 will also be responsible for answering phones, responding to emails, and providing customer service to the public. The Clerical Assistant 2 will also be responsible for maintaining records, preparing reports, and other duties as assigned. Job Skills Required• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous clerical experience preferred
• Knowledge of office procedures and practices
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
